Ventura Football Network and Ventura Unified School District are preparing a six-week elementary futsal experience built around free access, player development, teamwork, and school pride.
Development starts
close to home.
Students train with their school team, develop through a consistent curriculum, and finish the program by representing their school in a two-day futsal tournament.
The working model brings together Lemon Grove, Sunset, Atlas, and DATA. Each school will field one boys’ team and one girls’ team, creating eight teams and approximately 80 total participants.
Training is planned at each participating school so students can develop in a familiar setting. The program concludes with boys’ and girls’ tournament competition at E.P. Foster Elementary.

Tuesday + Thursday
Two school-site training sessions per team each week.

The working tournament model includes separate boys’ and girls’ divisions. Each division has four school teams competing through round-robin and placement matches.
