ABOUT VFN
Building a community-driven football ecosystem that creates opportunity, visibility, and access for every player.
Our Mission
Ventura Football Network exists to make football accessible for all. We believe opportunity should never depend on a family’s financial situation. Through free showcases, community-centered programs, local club partnerships, and comprehensive media and recruiting support, we uplift the communities we serve and create pathways for athletes to pursue college, professional, and global football opportunities.
OUR STORY
Ventura Football Network was founded by Cameron DeJong, a Ventura County coach and former professional player who experienced firsthand how many talented athletes are overlooked simply because they can’t afford the pay-to-play system.
After years coaching in the community and working with players from all backgrounds, one thing became clear: Football needed a new pathway, one rooted in accessibility, opportunity, and community.
VFN began as a single showcase event. Today, it has grown into one of the most meaningful and fast-growing football movements in the region.
