Join Ventura Football Network for a free community football takeover on the 600 block of State Street. Youth teams get dedicated 4v4 round-robin sessions, followed by two all-ages open-play blocks.
Beyond the courts, the turf Fun Zone brings together shade, seating, music, games, local football clubs, community partners, vendors and nearby businesses.
Plan ahead or walk up. Teams are encouraged to register in advance. Same-day registration is available while space remains, and every player must check in and complete the required waiver before taking part.

Youth teams should arrive 15–20 minutes early. Each registered team is scheduled for three short matches within its block. Every 50-minute block is followed by a 10-minute transition and court inspection. Programming may change based on turnout, weather, safety or operational needs.

Playing capacity is limited. Advance registration is recommended and same-day players are accepted only while space remains. Staff may use a waitlist. A parent or legal guardian must complete the waiver for a minor. Spectators never need to register.

Games use size 4, heavier-weight balls selected for street play.
No slide tackles, reckless contact, excessive force or high shots.
Players must stop when instructed and may be removed for unsafe conduct.
Participation is at your own risk. Every player must complete the participation waiver. A parent or legal guardian must complete it for a minor. Wear appropriate athletic footwear, bring water, and remove jewelry and unsafe equipment.
Is the event free?
Yes. Playing and spectating are free.

Advance team registration is recommended for the youth tournament sessions. Same-day registration is available while space remains. Every player must check in and complete the required waiver before playing.
Who can play?
There are dedicated U11, U13, U15 and U17 sessions, followed by two all-ages open-play sessions. Staff may group players by age, ability or safety needs.
What if a session fills up?
Staff may use a waitlist and rotate players when appropriate. Arrival does not guarantee playing time once safe capacity is reached.
Can the schedule change?
Yes. Programming is subject to turnout, weather, safety conditions, operational needs and coordination with the City.
