Scholarship Overview

The Play it forward Ventura Soccer Scholarship was created to remove financial barriers in the pay to play system. This scholarship will support one male and one female athlete from Ventura County with direct funding toward club fees, training, equipment, or travel expenses.

Eligibility

  • Must reside in Ventura County

  • currently attending high school

  • Must be an active soccer player

  • Must demonstrate character and commitment

  • Coach reference required

Scholarship funds may be used for:

  • Club fees

  • League or tournament registration

  • Travel costs

  • Equipment

  • Training sessions

Funds will be paid directly to the club or approved vendor whenever possible.
