How VFN Works
A connected football ecosystem built to make high level opportunities accessible for every player.
Ventura Football Network is more than an event or a team.
It is a complete community football ecosystem, a platform that connects players, clubs, coaches, families, schools, cities, and partners into one shared system designed to increase access, visibility, and opportunity.
The Platform
The VFN Platform is the foundation of everything we do.
It combines a trusted nonprofit brand, a growing community network, and modern systems that support all programs under the Ventura Football Network umbrella.
Through the platform we provide:
Brand and community trust
Registration and booking systems
Media and analytics integration
Event structure and operations
Partnerships with clubs, schools, and cities
A shared pathway from youth to college and beyond
All programs in the ecosystem connect back to this platform.
The Three Pillars of the VFN Ecosystem
-

Player Pathways
We help players move from local fields toward college, semi pro, and professional opportunities.

A Sustainable Community Revenue System
Every program inside VFN connects to a shared revenue system.
This system allows us to keep showcases free or low cost and reinvest directly into players and community programs.
Programs in the revenue system:
Showcases (fees and sponsorships)
Tournaments (5v5 and 7v7 events)
Merch and apparel (VFN and SBVFC)
Sponsorships (local and corporate)
Recruiting services (AOS Partnership – 80/20 split)
Club Shop program
Everything feeds back into the mission.
The 80/20 Model
Partners receive 80 percent of revenue for the day-to-day programs they operate. This covers: Staffing Operations Facility work Event labor Direct service delivery.
VFN receives 20 percent for providing the platform that powers everything. We provide: Brand and community trust Systems and booking infrastructure Marketing and outreach Access to networks, families, clubs, and scouts Integration into the ecosystem and long-term pathways.
This model allows VFN to scale without increasing labor and overhead.
Reinvesting Back Into The Community
The VFN Platform reinvests its share of revenue directly into:
Free and low cost showcases
SBVFC community first team
Player scholarships
Media and footage support for players
Referee training and workforce development
Youth programs and school partnerships
Equipment donations
Expanding to new cities
Every dollar supports local players.
